Yoga is not a conventional sport. There is much, much more to it than appears on the surface.
Yoga is a way of life one commits to – often for a lifetime. The term “yoga” means “to unite” – a reference to the merging into one of body and mind. This is achieved through five key elements:
physical exercises (Asana), breathing exercises (Pranayama), dietary practices, focus and inner reflection (meditation), and relaxation.
The practice of yoga offers a wonderful opportunity to recover from everyday stress, re-centre and restore our balance.
Our yoga instructors, Melli and Lena, are there to guide our guests’ journey into a world of deep relaxation. Yoga exercises are chosen according to time of day and individual needs, and include a balanced alternation between tension (strength and mobility exercises) and relaxation.
Yoga is based on a holistic approach that addresses both physical and mental aspects for all-round balance and health.
